Dear Member,

Now that the first four months of 2007, are behind us, I thought it appropriate to let you know what the New Board of
the San Nicolas Business Association has been doing.

Since our website and newsletter are still being developed, I thought this little info-letter might be welcome.

During the first four months we have initiated and strengthened contact with several prominent persons in our
community. We’ve had meetings with the President of Parliament, the General Manager and Vice President of Valero,
General Managers of local hotels and resorts bank directors and business managers.

We were also briefed on the plans for the development of the north / east coastline.

There were contacts with several guest speakers, who we hope to invite to the island in the near future, so that they
can share their development-experience with us. Likewise we have contacted urban planners and architects, who we
hope can advice us on further developing San Nicolas.

We have also attended several workshops on e.g. Security, Customer Service, and the “Ruimtelijk
Ontwikkelingsplan”, which involves planning of roads, urban planning development, environment and economic
zoning.

Such contacts, meetings, briefings and workshops are very encouraging and we consider them of paramount
importance. We intend to keep you informed.

Our new recruitment folder has been printed and we have already recruited several new members this year.

In August we hope to hold our General Members Meeting. I will duly inform you on this.
